To celebrate Leap Day this year, Disney created the event called: One More Disney Day.

The event included the Magic Kingdom being open for 24 hours straight! Publicity included t-shirts, buttons, hats, special pins, etc. It was pretty epic.

Of course, none of us wanted to be left out of the fun, so a group of us appeared at Magic Kingdom decked out in our PJ's with the special event shirts to boot. We spent the entire night gallivanting through the streets of MK.

It was truly a night full of memories!

Some good (laughing hysterically as a particular manager (the husband of one of our managers at Hollywood Studios Backlands) gave us one quick, personalized Jungle Cruise tour), some bad (an intense hour handling some health issues of a party member that involved a call to 911), some funny (me not getting a Jungle Cruise joke until 20 minutes later), some sad (trying to comfort a particularly traumatized member of our party after the 911 incident), but ALL memories that will last a life-time.

Thanks for the extra day, Disney. It really may have made all the difference in my college program!
