I completely skipped over last Thursday! Epic fail.

So rewind.

Back past the Westminster walk ---> Back past Churchill War Rooms ---> Back past Westminster abbey ....

Alright. Here we are. Thursday the 6th of May in 2010.

The day started out with classes (interesting but long...1 1/2 hours for a class is always pushing it but that is ok). After that, I spent the day working on my personal little projects (photo editing, working on videos for my walks project, etc.) and a bit of homework here and there.

That night we, as an entire group, attended A Midsummer Night's Dream at Shakespeare's Globe theatre. It was fantastic! As with all Shakespeare plays there was quite a bit of crude humor but I expected that.

It was a really different version of the play. All the lines remained true to the original text but the time period was different (more like the 18th or early 19th century kind of feel). They also would randomly turn certain passages of text into catchy little songs. It was fun and fast-paced and very enjoyable to watch!

Plus...we were watching it in the Globe...um...SCORE.

(It was really cool...the whole production was put on by a total of 8 people...lots of character switching...)
